Reportages and academia are different languages of description and ways of exploring the world. How can academia benefit from the narrative possibilities and sensitive approach of reportage and, vice versa, how can non-fiction literature benefit from the resources of academic concepts and systematization? Will an attempt at such a transdisciplinary and transspecies dialogue allow us to better understand what is happening with Polish and European memory?
We invite you to a discussion around these questions, in which the starting point will be the most interesting contemporary publications dealing with the subject of history and memory.
The series of discussions “To Understand Memory” consists of five conversations between historians and reporters. The first event takes place in October and will be transmitted online.
